The DFS is a cost effective alternative to buying expensive dies to do short run or prototype work on traditional printing presses.
The DFS will work with most roll web format printers from the Matan Spring to Flexo presses. Digital contour cutting eliminates the cost, inventory hassles and lead-time of dies used in traditional die cutting methods.
In-line pressure sensitive (cold) lamination is easy with independently adjustable web tension drives for laminate tension and release liner take-up.
The cutter contour kiss-cuts decals and labels and can be set up very quickly and economically making it ideal for short run productions.

The SmartMark recognition system uses a simple .25 inch square contrasting mark placed anywhere in the lower left quadrant of the print job and is independent of the RIP and cutting software. The user simply moves the LED marker close to one printed registration mark and the system does the rest!
Cutting is digitally controlled and registers optically in both the X and Y directions on each individually cut file. This helps the DFS track any movement of the web as the job runs through the machine. The Digital Finishing System weeds the waste, slits and rewinds. The DFS has individually adjustable web tension drives for scrap/waste take-up, and finished label take-up.
On site Installation and training is available. The DFS comes with a 1 year warranty and service contracts are available. |
